James McGinn

James McGinn lives in Manhattan and likes to improvise & make work with his friends and family. He graduated from Eugene Lang College, The New School for Liberal Arts and has spent the last decade growing up at the American Dance Festival. James has been greatly influenced by performing in the work of Jonah Bokaer, Wally Cardona, Talya Epstein, Miguel Gutierrez, Ishmael Houston-Jones, John Jasperse, Jen McGinn, & Judith Sánchez Ruiz, among others. His work has been presented in NYC by AUNTS @ The Event Center, Body Blend @ Dixon Place, Movement Research @ The Judson Church, & New Works @ The Tank. James is addicted to ken ken and wishes he were quadrilingual.

James performs in I SAY THE WORD and he was an understudy for And lose the name of action.
