dAMNATION rOAD (2004)
dAMNATION rOAD is a physical and aural exploration of the body in terror. Michelle Boulé, blindfolded and bound, struggles to act in a setting of devastation. Her uncertain gestures reflect our desire to understand the unknown. The other performers emerge as dream like, undead figures. Christoph Draeger’s set is a landscape of destruction and desolation – metallic rubble, a wrecked car and a dilapidated bedroom. Pee in My Face with Surgery’s caustic vocals and electronics infuse the scene with unreality and urgency.
