is a graduate of Hollins University where she majored in both Dance and English with a focus in Literary Criticism. Isabel makes work with Erika Hand under the name The Labor Union. They have presented their work in several venues throughout NYC. Besides performing with The Labor Union and the Powerful People, Isabel also performs with Ann Liv Young. Isabel was a Movement Research (MR) Artist in Residence and a Fresh Track Residency Recipient for 2005-2006. She has also worked as an editor and writer for the MR Performance Journal and has been the curator for the dance series, Body Blend, at Dixon Place. Most recently, Isabel curated and produced the MR Festival Spring 2007: Reverence (Irreverence) along with Rebecca Brooks, Beth Gill, and Erika Hand. www.thelaborunion.com.
